If you visited Kensal library on Monday 13 June you may have noticed the library had been taken over by Mr Men and Little Misses in order to celebrate 45 years of the Mr Men.
Our celebrations began with the story of Mr Birthday and brought forth chuckles from children and adults alike.
We had some great colouring in pictures of Mr Happy and Little Miss Sunshine while we discussed who our favourite Mr Men or Little Miss was or which of the Mr Men we were most like.
Thanks mum for comparing me to Mr Bump when I was little!
We then made little gift boxes decorated with Mr Men or Little Misses and everybody got a shiny Mr Men sticker to put inside to take home.
After making our cute boxes we then played a fun game of Race to the Castle using different shaped buttons as markers.
Well done Rosemarie who got to the castle first!
We ended the event with some more colouring in and I am pleased to say that our display of Mr Men and Little Misses books were all borrowed by those who attended the event.
